Everyone’s favorite anti-video game activist, Jack Thompson, lashes out at Louisiana politicians and other state officials about matters concerning the state’s video game law. The law, put into effect in June, states that anyone caught selling children video games that "depict violence in a manner patently offensive to prevailing standards in the adult community with respect to what is suitable for minors" faces fines between $100 and $2,000 and up to a year in prison. Through letters to the governor and attorney general of Louisiana, Thompson’s attacks Federal District Court Judge James Brady for choosing to challenge that the new law was in violation of the First Amendment.
