According to Ron Bertram, Nintendo of Canada VP, there will be plenty of Wiis to go around come November 19th. One million units are scheduled to be on shelves for the North America launch alone. Bertram’s remarks concerning the launch “...this will be our most plentiful launch in the 15 years I’ve been at Nintendo. All signs are actually extremely positive.” Compared to Sony’s 500,000 units world wide, Nintendo is looking to be a bigger player in this generation then the previous. With a price point of $250 and plenty of systems available, the Nintendo Wii is looking more and more appealing to gamers.
